Experience

After a brief stint in the education sector, when STEM learning started taking shape in India, Rajitha worked as a journalist at the national daily, The New Indian Express, for nearly 5 years. In a short span, she became the youngest female (English language) journalist in Telangana whose work was acknowledged by UNICEF and UNFPA. She then worked as a lecturer at the Royal Thimphu College in Bhutan. Her writing is published in several webzines and academic journals, and she co-authored a book. Evolving along with the fast-changing media, she switched to digital marketing. Currently, she is a content writer and editor at Oliva. Her rich work experience in different roles enables her to deliver authentic and accurate information to Oliva’s readers. She applies her journalistic training to every piece of writing without fail – long or short form – and ensures that the content across Oliva’s social and web channels is informative, accurate, inclusive and sensitive to the reader. Her teaching experience also comes in handy to accomplish this.
