If Iβm already using retinol at night, should I avoid enzyme facials or space them out?
Yes, you should absolutely avoid using retinol a few days before and after getting an enzyme facial done. Both retinol and enzyme facials work by exfoliating your skin. Using them together can cause over-exfoliation, irritation, redness, and may even compromise your skin barrier. Hence, itβs best to refrain from using them for a while.
