Moles

There are multiple treatment available for mole removal depending on the type, size and location of moles on the face or body. For bigger moles, excision with stitching to cause minimum scarring is the preferred method of removal. It is done under local anesthesia and is painless. Smaller raised moles can be removed painlessly after applying topical anesthetic creams using radiofrequency ablation. This involves using a heated probe to melt away the mole tissue very precisely without harming the adjoining skin, thus healing with no bleeding, scarring or complications. For freckles and lentigines which are similar to moles but consist of pigmentation entirely below the skin (and are not raised form skin), laser removal is another fuss and pain free procedure with no downtime.
