I’m considering laser treatment for my dark spots, but I have a darker skin tone. Is it safe for darker skin, or could the laser make the pigmentation worse?

Laser treatments that use Q-switched Nd:YAG or low-fluence toning lasers can be safe for darker skin. Aggressive lasers can worsen pigmentation, so it is crucial to consult an experienced dermatologist who knows how to treat darker skin types.
