I have a receding hairline that makes me look much older. Can anyone tell me whether there is a cure for male pattern baldness?

Male pattern baldness is the most common hair problem suffered by people. There are a few treatments available, but starting them early in the disease is important for getting good results. The first line medicine prescribed is minoxidil, usually in lotion form, which has to continued long-term for sustained results. In advanced stages, DHT blockers (dihydrotestosterone) like finasteride can be added in male patients. Treatment for at least 6 months to 1 year is required for good growth. Treating any underlying cause (if present) like thyroid disorders is also required. Procedures like Platelet rich plasma therapy can be added on for better and longer lasting results.
